Valerie is passionate about helping children grow, build confidence, and thrive in their daily lives. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2022 with a degree in Health Promotion and Health Equity before going on to pursue her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Mount Mary University, where she graduated in 2025.
While Valerie enjoys working with people of all ages, she discovered her love for pediatrics while working as an ABA therapist, where she gained experience supporting children with diverse needs. Together with her doctoral training, this experience shaped Valerie’s passion for celebrating children’s unique strengths and supporting them as they grow, play, and reach their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Valerie enjoys cheering on all her favorite Wisconsin teams — the Packers, Bucks, Brewers, and Badgers. She also loves traveling, getting lost in a good book, and staying active through running and walks with her dog, Rosie. Valerie values time with family and friends and brings the same warmth, energy, and creativity she shares with them into her work. She strives to create a welcoming space where children feel safe, supported, and confident to be themselves.
